Norbrook Expands Conservation Efforts with Sheldrick Wildlife Trust Partnership in Kenya

Veterinary support helps protect East Africa’s orphaned elephants and endangered wildlife

Newry, 11 March, 2025: Norbrook is deepening its commitment to wildlife conservation by providing essential veterinary pharmaceuticals to the Sheldrick Wildlife Trust. As the world’s leading orphaned elephant rescue and rehabilitation program, the Trust plays a critical role in protecting East Africa’s most vulnerable wildlife.

During a recent visit to the Sheldrick elephant sanctuary in Nairobi, the Norbrook leadership team witnessed the impact of the Trust’s work. The team had the rare opportunity to meet Maxwell, an endangered black rhinoceros who has been in the Trust’s care since birth due to blindness. Unable to survive in the wild, Maxwell has found a safe and permanent home at the sanctuary.
