Loxicom 0.5mg/mL Oral Suspension
Loxicom oral suspension is a non-steroidal anti-inflammatory analgesic for use in cats and dogs containing meloxicam 0.5mg/mL in a pale yellow suspension for oral administration. Alleviation of inflammation and pain in both acute and chronic musculoskeletal disorders such as disco-spondylosis, arthropathy and soft tissue injuries.

Indications
This product is used for the alleviation of inflammation and pain in both acute and chronic musculoskeletal disorders such as disco-spondylosis, arthropathy and soft tissue injuries.

Dosage
Shake well before use. Should be administered orally either mixed with food or directly into the mouth around meal times. Particular care should be given with regard to using the syringe labelled for either cat or dog, the accuracy of dosing, and the suspension should be carefully measured. If no improvement is noticeable after 10 days of treatment, please consult a veterinary surgeon. Cats: On the first day of treatment, give a single dose of 0.1mg/kg equivalent to 0.2mL/kg bodweight, twice the maintenance volume (using the cat measuring syringe). Continue treatment once daily by oral administration (at 24 hour intervals) at the maintenance dose and volume of 0.05mg/kg equivalent to 0.1mL/kg. Dogs: On the first day of treatment, give a single dose of 0.2mg/kg equivalent to 0.4mL/kg or twice the maintenance volume (using the appropriate sized dog measuring syringe). Continue treatment once daily by oral administration (at 24 hour intervals) at the maintenance dose or volume of 0.1mg/kg equivalent to 0.2mL/kg.
