Norbrook employees undertake Six Sigma training this year
Eleven Norbrook employees have undertaken Six Sigma training this year. Six Sigma is an approach to continuous improvement that provides increased customer satisfaction by improving an organisation’s processes.
Six Sigma combines programme management, One Team/team-based project management, problem solving and statistical analysis in the continuous review and revision of processes that deliver value to customers. Projects are result orientated striving for excellence in products and processes and challenging participants to find innovative solutions to problems. Projects have resulted in reduced energy costs, reduced downtime, reduced COA leadtime, improved QC method and improved R&D techniques.
The training involved working on projects in house and completing external exams. Once project certification is successfully completed we will have our first Norbrook certified Lean Six Sigma Green Belts.
