Committed to quality, everyday
Norbrook’s Quality operation is concerned with all matters, which individually or collectively influence the quality of a product. The Quality Unit consists of two main functions: Quality Assurance (QA) and Quality Control (QC). The QA department is responsible for establishing the Quality System required for Good Manufacturing Practice (GMP) compliance, establishing procedures and controls, setting specifications and auditing compliance to the Quality System.
The QC department is responsible for sampling and testing, and for organisation, documentation and release procedures which ensure that all the required tests necessary to assure the quality of Raw Materials have been verified prior to their release for use. They are also responsible for ensuring the applicable tests for each Finished Product batch has been carried out prior to its approval.
The Quality Unit also includes the QPs (Qualified Persons) who are responsible for certifying the Finished Products before their final release for supply/sale. The QPs ensure that each individual batch has been manufactured and checked in compliance with all the applicable laws, regulations and requirements.
