Norfenicol 300mg/mL Solution for Injection for Cattle and Pigs

Norfenicol solution for Cattle and Pigs contains a clear yellow solution for injection containing florfenicol 300mg/ml. An antibiotic indicated for the treatment of bacterial infections, including pinkeye, Bovine Respiratory Disease (BRD) and footrot in cattle and Swine Respiratory Disease (SRD) in pigs.

  • Indications

    Norfenicol 300mg/mL injection is indicated for the treatment of bacterial infection, including pinkeye, bovine respiratory disease (BRD) and footrot in cattle and swine respiratory disease (SRD) in pigs.

  • Dosage

    Cattle: Subcutaneous 40mg/kg (2mLs per 15kg). One dose only. For doses that exceed 10mL, more than one injection site will be required. Inject under the skin high on the neck behind the ear.
    Pigs: Intramuscular 15mg/kg (0.75mL per 15kg). Two injections are given 48 hours apart. Do not exceed 3mL at any one injection site. Inject into the muscle tissue on the side of the neck.
