Loxicom 20mg/ml Injection for Cattle and Pigs
Loxicom for Cattle and Pigs contains a clear yellow solution for injection containing meloxicam 20mg/ml. A non-steroidal anti-inflammatory, analgesic and antipyretic for use in cattle and pigs.

Indications
This product is a non-steroidal anti-inflammatory, analgesic and antipyretic indicated in cattle for use in acute respiratory infection and diarrhoea in combination with appropriate antibiotic therapy to reduce clinical symptoms in calves and young cattle. For use in acute mastitis, in combination with antibiotic therapy, as appropriate, to reduce clinical symptoms in lactating cows. Indications in pigs are for use in acute non-infectious locomotor disorders to reduce symptoms of lameness and inflammation. For use in puerperal septicaemia and toxaemia (mastitis-metritis-agalactia syndrome) with appropriate antibiotic therapy to reduce clinical signs of inflammation, oppose the effects of endotoxins and hasten recovery.

Dosage
Cattle: Single use only by subcutaneous or intravenous injection only. 0.5mg/kg meloxicam (2.5mls/100kg). Do not exceed 10 mL at any one SC injection site. Do not repeat treatment regime for 21 days Pigs: For single intramuscular injection into the anterior side of the neck. (Can be repeated once after 24 hours if necessary) 0.4mg/kg meloxicam (2ml/100kg). Do not exceed 2 mL at any one injection site. Do not repeat treatment regime for 8 days.
