Alamycin LA 300 Oxytetracycline injectable solution
Alamycin LA 300 is a sterile aqueous solution containing oxytetracycline dihydrate Ph Eur equivalent to 300 mg/mL of oxytetracycline base. It is indicated as a broad-spectrum antibiotic for use in the treatment of conditions caused by, or associated with, organisms sensitive to oxytetracycline in cattle, sheep and pigs.

Indications
Alamycin LA 300 is a broad-spectrum antibiotic for use in the treatment of conditions caused by, or associated with, organisms sensitive to oxytetracycline in cattle, sheep and pigs.

Dosage
Cattle, sheep and pigs: Standard dose - 20 mg/kg (1 mL/15 kg) Elevated dose - 30 mg/kg (1 mL/10 kg). Piglets less than 10 kg should be given from 0.2 mL at 1 day old, to 0.5 mL at 21 days old. Over 21 days old give 1 mL per 10 kg. A single dose is usually sufficient. Volume at any one site should not exceed 10mL.
