Making a Difference
At Norbrook we are not only committed to enhancing animal health, we are also focused on making a difference in our local communities.
Our award-winning WeCare programme has grown in recent years. In Northern Ireland, our WeCare@Christmas programme focuses on those in greatest need during the festive season. In partnership with local charities, hundreds of employees participate in this programme annually to donate food, toys, hot meals to hundreds of families in the region. Our volunteering programme enables employees to visit local hospice & hospital, transforming them for the festive season. Elsewhere around the world, our employees support charities locally during the festive season. Our WeCare programme extends to other activities throughout the year, where the generosity of our employees has enabled us to support many exceptional causes globally.
Empowering the next generation of vets
Norbrook is the No. 1 animal pharmaceutical company in Kenya and Uganda and we welcome our responsibility to inspire and empower the next generation of vets. For almost ten years, we have given financial rewards to the top performing veterinarian graduates in universities in Kenya and Uganda.
Supporting Local Communities in Africa
Our teams support a local care & feeding centre in Kenya and an orphanage in Uganda, providing much-needed food and toys during the festive season. In recent years, through employee fundraising, we have built new facilities for many schools and care centres in Kenya.
